Student Organization Expo at BINUS University

Student Organizations serve as a platform for students at BINUS University to develop soft skills that will support their future beyond academic life. At BINUS University, there is a regular activity specifically organized for new students to register for Student Organizations (OK), known as the EXPO.

EXPO is an activity conducted by student organizations during the new student orientation period, aiming to promote their organizations to new students. Through this event, new students can learn more about the various student organizations available and register as members based on their interests and talents.

In its implementation, there are several regulations that must be followed by Student Organizations during the EXPO, as outlined below:

a) Student Organizations may conduct EXPO activities and accept registrations across all BINUS University campus areas, provided they have coordinated in advance with the respective Student Affairs (SA) office.

b) Registration for Student Organizations is free of charge. Fees may only be charged for benefits directly received by participants, such as the purchase of merchandise or organizational attributes, or for specific events such as Welcoming Party and LDK-A.

c) All transactions conducted during the EXPO must be carried out digitally through the official bank account of the Student Organization registered in SIC.

d) All attributes and promotional media used during the EXPO must be appropriate, comply with applicable norms and regulations, and must not damage the provided facilities.

e) Student Organizations are allowed to showcase their achievements, activity documentation, and works created by their members.

f) Student Organizations are also encouraged to present Alumni Success Stories as a source of inspiration for new students.

Through the EXPO activity, new students have the opportunity to join various Student Organizations, including Himpunan Mahasiswa Jurusan (HMJ) and Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM), based on their interests and potential.

By participating in the Student Organization EXPO, students are expected to find the most suitable platform to develop themselves, expand their network, and enrich their experience during their academic journey at BINUS University.
