BINUS Square is one of BINUS University’s residential facilities that provides a comprehensive learning environment and supports students’ personal development. One of the key elements within BINUS Square is the BINUS Square Student Committee (BSSC), a student organization that serves as a platform for boarders to develop their potential and actively participate in various extracurricular activities.

To become an organization that develops and provides globally competitive individuals while actively fostering boarders’ talents and social awareness by 2026.

Mission

1. Encourage boarders to develop their potential through the various programs and activities organized by BSSC.
2. Facilitate and realize the goals and aspirations of boarders through meaningful initiatives.
3. Enhance the quality and capabilities of BSSC members to strengthen the organization’s competitiveness on a global scale.

Through this vision and mission, BSSC aims to nurture a generation of boarders who are creative, responsible, and highly competitive.

Organizational Structure and Divisions

BSSC consists of nine main divisions, providing students with opportunities to explore and develop their interests and talents:

• BSSC Wonder – An orientation program for new boarders.
• Culture Share – A platform for cultural and language exchange.
• BSSC Festival – An annual festival showcasing students’ creativity and talents.
• BSSC Earth Hour – An environmental awareness campaign promoting sustainable practices.
• BSSC Squarelympic – A sports competition among boarders.
• Language Class – Language learning programs covering Korean, Japanese, Thai, French, and German.
• Music & Martial Art Class – Programs designed to develop musical and martial arts skills.
• BSSC Gathering – Social and networking activities for boarders.
• SHINE (Share Happiness, Inspiration, and Education) – A community engagement program focused on sharing knowledge and inspiration.
• Blood Donation – A social initiative that contributes to the wider community.

How to Join BSSC

Boarders interested in joining BSSC can participate in the recruitment process, which typically begins during the mass check-in period or through the BSSC Wonder program. After registration, applicants will go through an interview and training process before officially becoming members of the division that best matches their interests and skills.
