Are There Opportunities to Study Abroad While Enrolled at BINUS International?

Yes. BINUS International offers various international programs that enable students to gain global academic exposure, including opportunities to study abroad through student exchange schemes and partnerships with overseas universities. These programs allow students to broaden their perspectives, develop international networks, and enhance their global competencies.

Available pathways include:

  1. 3+1 Program
    • Students complete three years of study in Indonesia and one year at a partner university abroad.
  2. 2+2 Program
    • Students complete two years of study in Indonesia and two years at a partner university abroad.
  3. Full BINUS Program
    • Students complete all four years of study in Jakarta, Indonesia, and earn dual degrees from BINUS International and La Trobe University (Australia) for selected programs, namely:
      • Business Information Systems
      • Computer Science
  4. Master Track Program (Bachelor’s + Master’s Degree)

Can Holders of an IB Diploma or Cambridge A-Level Certificate Apply Directly to BINUS International?

Yes. Holders of an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or Cambridge A-Level Certificate are eligible to apply directly to BINUS International. However, applicants are advised to review the specific admission requirements of their intended program and complete the necessary diploma equivalency process through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of Indonesia.

Can Indonesian Citizens (WNI) Who Completed High School Abroad Apply to BINUS International?

Yes. Indonesian citizens who completed their secondary education overseas are eligible to apply to BINUS International. Applicants must fulfill the applicable admission requirements and obtain an official equivalency assessment of their high school qualification from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology to determine whether it is equivalent to Grade 12 of the Indonesian senior high school system.

Can Foreign Nationals (WNA) Apply to BINUS International?

Yes. Both foreign nationals residing in Indonesia and those living abroad are welcome to apply to BINUS International. Applicants are required to submit all admission documents specified by the BINUS Global team.

What Are the Admission Requirements for BINUS International?

The admission requirements for BINUS International are as follows:

  • Applicants for the Computer Science program must have graduated from the Natural Sciences (IPA) stream in senior high school.
  • Applicants must have successfully completed senior high school or an equivalent qualification.
  • Applicants must pass the BINUS International entrance examination.
  • Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency with:
  • TOEFL score of 550, or
  • IELTS score of 6.5

What Topics Are Included in the BINUS International Entrance Examination?

The admission test consists of the following components:

  1. Logic Test
  2. Abstract Reasoning and Verbal Test
  3. BINUS International English Proficiency Test
  4. Test of Written English
  5. Drawing Test (for Graphic Design & New Media applicants only)
  6. Interview (for applicants applying for the WIDIA Scholarship and Best School Scholarship only)
