Every graduation ceremony celebrates students’ academic journey and contributions throughout their studies. As a form of appreciation for outstanding graduates, Universitas Bina Nusantara presents two graduation award categories: BINUSIAN Award and Wibowo Award.
These awards are given to graduates who demonstrate not only academic excellence but also meaningful contributions in various areas during their study period.
BINUSIAN Award
The BINUSIAN Award is presented to graduates who demonstrate strong academic excellence while actively producing impactful work, research, publications, and competition achievements that bring pride to BINUS at the provincial, national, or international level.
BINUSIAN Award Recipient Profile
Recipients of this award typically demonstrate the following qualities:
- Strong academic performance with high GPA
- Achievements in academic and non-academic competitions
- Published scientific or non-scientific works
- Involvement in research activities
Wibowo Award
The Wibowo Award is presented to graduates who demonstrate leadership and active contribution in student activities while maintaining excellent academic performance.
This award emphasizes student involvement in organizations, self-development, and contributions to the campus community and society.
Wibowo Award Recipient Profile
Recipients of this award typically demonstrate the following qualities:
- Active or strategic roles in student organizations or institutional activities
- Strong academic performance while contributing to the campus community
- Consistent participation in self-development programs throughout their studies
- Active involvement in impactful community activities
General Eligibility Requirements
Students may participate in the selection process for both awards if they meet the following requirements:
- BINUS students enrolled in D4 or Undergraduate (S1) programs
- Graduate on time
- Minimum GPA of 3.50
- Have completed at least 146 credits, including thesis/final project
- Fulfill all administrative graduation requirements
Assessment Criteria
Award recipients are assessed based on the following criteria:
- Student roles in organizations and student activities
- Self-development based on SAT POINT records
- Research based on Research & Technology Transfer Office records
- Works/Publications (scientific and non-scientific)
- Academic and non-academic competition achievements
- Community service based on ComServ Hour records
Ensure All Achievement Records Are Updated
To ensure all achievements are considered during the assessment process, students must verify that their records have been properly submitted in the Student Activity BINUS platform, including:
- Self-Development
- Research
- Works / Publications
- Achievements
- Community Services
