Rector Cup is an annual competition organized by BINUS University. The event serves as a platform for students to compete, collaborate, and showcase their talents across various fields. More than just a competition, the Rector Cup also strengthens camaraderie and unity among students from different BINUS campuses.

Objectives of Rector Cup

Theme and Visual Identity

Each year, the Rector Cup carries a unique theme.
For 2024, the theme was “Aichipelago”, combining AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Archipelago.

Symbolizes bridges connecting BINUS campuses and ocean waves representing unity and connectivity.

• Concept

Each BINUS campus is visualized as an “island” interconnected through this competition.

Achievements and Highlights

Rector Cup also serves as a showcase for student accomplishments.
For example, in Rector Cup 2024, BINUS @Bandung sent 48 students to compete in various categories and achieved:

• 1 Silver Medal

• 3 Bronze Medals

Schedule and Registration

• Registration Period
  Usually opens one month before the event begins.
  Example: For Rector Cup 2023, registration ran from October 23 to November 21.

• Competition Period
  Onsite competitions took place during the competition week, such as December 11–18, 2023.
