Yes, you can. However, there are several conditions that must be met for students to be allowed to retake courses in the same semester as taking the Thesis.
Requirements for Retaking Courses While Taking the Thesis:
-
Maximum Total of 24 Credits (SKS)
The total number of courses taken — including the Thesis and any failed courses — must not exceed 24 credits in one semester. However, please note that some departments may have specific policies regarding the maximum number of credits allowed. Therefore, it is recommended that you consult with your respective Program or Study Program office. -
Retaken Courses Must Not Be Thesis Prerequisites
You are not allowed to retake any course that is a prerequisite for the Thesis. All prerequisite courses must be passed before you are eligible to take the Thesis. - The failed course must be offered in the same semester as the Thesis.
If the failed course is not offered in the same semester as the Thesis, the student will not be able to register for the Thesis in that semester.
