The Associate Trainer (AT) program is designed for students who have an interest and passion for becoming trainers or facilitators. For students who want to deepen their understanding of training activities or the teaching-learning process, the AT program is an ideal platform to maximize their potential.

What Are the Responsibilities of an Associate Trainer (AT)?

An AT is responsible for teaching, either as a trainer or facilitator, in various activities that support the development of soft skills (BINUS Graduate Attributes). Examples of activities involving ATs include training sessions, workshops, and experiential learning.

In addition to teaching, ATs also participate in designing programs aimed at developing students’ soft skills. Through this role, students are expected to enhance their ability to become trainers or facilitators and to develop skills in designing soft skill development programs.

How Does the Registration and Selection Process Work?

The process of registering and being selected as an AT involves several stages:

• Registration and Form Submission

Students register through the link announced during the registration period and complete the form with all required information.

• CV Screening and Administrative Check

The submitted CVs will be reviewed, and administrative checks will be conducted, including verifying any violations of the Code of Conduct for Student Activities (Peraturan Tata Tertib Aktivitas Kemahasiswaan [PTTAK]) as part of the integrity assessment.

• Interview and Teaching Demo

Candidates who pass the administrative stage will attend an interview to assess their qualifications and conduct a teaching demo. The purpose of the demo is to evaluate communication skills, material delivery, topic mastery, and teaching demeanor.

• Training Program

Candidates who successfully pass the selection process must attend the Associate Trainer training program.

What Are the Criteria for Becoming an Associate Trainer (AT)?

To qualify as an AT, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Be an active BINUS student

  • Possess strong communication skills

  • Be active, dynamic, and proactive

  • Have an interest in training, teaching, and the learning process

  • Have no record of violations of the Code of Conduct for Student Activities (Peraturan Tata Tertib Aktivitas Kemahasiswaan [PTTAK])
