A Freshmen Leader (FL) is an active student selected to mentor new students (Freshmen) during the orientation activities of the First Year Program (FYP). This mentorship takes place during the orientation period prior to the start of the odd semester. The Freshmen Leader is responsible for ensuring that each Freshman participates in the orientation activities effectively and meaningfully.
Roles and Responsibilities of a Freshmen Leader
In carrying out their duties, a Freshmen Leader acts as both a mentor and a role model for Freshmen. The roles and responsibilities of an FL include:

-
Supporting the smooth implementation of the First Year Program (FYP) by delivering accurate information and encouraging active participation in all activities and task completion.
-
Monitoring the attendance and well-being of Freshmen throughout the orientation process to ensure their comfort and optimal engagement within the campus environment.
