1. Who Can Become an O.K Officer?

An O.K (Student Organization) officer is a member who has completed both LDK-A (Basic Leadership Training for Activists) and LDK-CP (Basic Leadership Training for Prospective Officers), and meets all eligibility requirements set by the Student Affairs Department (Kemahasiswaan).


2. What Are the Requirements to Be Involved in O.K Management?

The requirements to become an O.K officer at BINUS University include:

  • Completion of LDK-A

  • Completion of LDK-CP

  • Minimum GPA of 2.75

  • Completion of 15 SCU (credit hours) per semester

  • Graduation from the First Year Program (FYP) or possession of at least 85 SAT points

  • No violations of the Student Activity Code of Conduct (PTTAK)

  • Not participating in the Enrichment Program during the term of office

  • Not participating in the Mobility Program during the term of office


3. What Is the Structure of O.K Management at BINUS University?

The O.K management structure at BINUS University consists of:

A. Executive Board (Dewan Pengurus Inti / DPI)

  • General President
    Responsible for determining strategies and overseeing the overall implementation of organizational activities and work programs.

  • Regional President
    Coordinates and manages organizational activities and work programs within each campus region.

  • Secretary
    Handles organizational administration, including correspondence, documentation, and activity scheduling.

  • Treasurer
    Responsible for bookkeeping, asset management, and financial administration.

B. Coordinator

A Coordinator is responsible for managing all work programs within their division and reporting directly to the General President or Regional President.

C. Staff

Staff members assist the Coordinator in executing the division’s work programs and responsibilities.


4. What Types of Student Organizations Exist at BINUS University?

Student organizations at BINUS University consist of:

  • Himpunan Mahasiswa Jurusan (HMJ) – Student Associations based on academic majors or study programs.

  • Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) – Student Activity Units focused on extracurricular, talent, and interest-based activities.

All student organizations are directly supervised by the Student Affairs Department (Kemahasiswaan).


5. How Many Student Organizations Are There at BINUS University?

As of March 13, 2025, BINUS University has 65 active Student Organizations (O.K), consisting of:

  • 24 Student Associations (HMJ)

  • 41 Student Activity Units (UKM)

These organizations are distributed across several BINUS regional campuses, including Greater Jakarta, Bekasi, Bandung, Malang, and Semarang.
