BINUS Festival, commonly known as BIFEST, is a recurring program organized by BINUS University twice each year, once in every semester. The program aims to provide students with opportunities to develop both soft skills and hard skills, particularly in support of the BINUS Graduate Attributes development framework.
Who Organizes BIFEST?
BIFEST is organized by various units within BINUS University and/or students involved in student organizations and other university roles. Each BIFEST activity features speakers, practitioners, or experts in relevant fields, enabling students to gain deeper insights and broader perspectives on various topics.
What Types of Activities Are Available in BIFEST?
Students can participate in a wide range of activities offered through BIFEST, including:
- Seminars and Talk Shows
- Training Sessions and Workshops
- Gatherings and Information Dissemination Sessions
- Knowledge Sharing Sessions and Conferences
- Exhibitions
- Entrepreneurial Activities
- Social and Community Engagement Programs
- Competitions
- Other activities that support the development of soft skills and hard skills
What Are the Modes of BIFEST Participation?
BIFEST activities may be conducted through the following modes:
1. Onsite
Students are required to attend the activity in person at their respective campuses according to the scheduled time and complete attendance registration at the event venue.
2. Online
Students participate through the designated online platform or meeting link provided by the organizer. Participants are required to keep their cameras on throughout the session to facilitate attendance verification.
3. Hybrid
Some students attend the activity onsite, while others participate online, depending on the arrangement determined by the organizer.
How Can Students Participate in BIFEST Activities?
Students may participate in BIFEST through the following mechanisms:
1. Mandatory Activities
Students who are assigned mandatory BIFEST activities will receive the schedule through BINUSMAYA, where the activity will appear as part of their to do list.
2. Voluntary Activities
Students may also register voluntarily for additional BIFEST activities based on their interests and personal development goals through the registration links provided by the organizers.
Is Participation in BIFEST Mandatory?
Students who are assigned mandatory BIFEST activities through BINUSMAYA are required to attend and participate in accordance with the organizer’s regulations and requirements. In addition, students are encouraged to join other available BIFEST activities voluntarily to further enrich their learning experience and support their personal and professional development.
