To ensure the ceremony runs smoothly, orderly, and meaningfully, BINUS University has established several regulations that must be observed by graduates and invited guests. 1. Guest Attendance and Invitation Regulations

Can I bring young children into the graduation hall?
❌ Children under 6 years old are not permitted to enter the graduation venue in order to maintain the orderliness and solemnity of the ceremony.
👨‍👩‍👧 Children aged 6–13 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times while attending the event.
📌 Regardless of age, each child counts as one guest.

How many invitations are provided?
✅ Each graduate will receive two digital invitations, valid for two guests.

Can I bring more than two guests?
✅ Yes. However, only two guests are allowed to enter the graduation hall. BINUS University provides TV screens in the lobby area where additional guests can watch the ceremony via live broadcast.

Can invitations be transferred or entrusted to someone else?
❌ No. Guests must carry their own invitations and may not leave them with the graduate or any other person.

How can guests access the Graduation Invitation?

• Graduation invitations can be accessed through BINUS Mobile for Parent (for parents of Regular Undergraduate students) or BINUSMAYA Mobile.
• Login credentials:
  • BINUS Mobile for Parent: Use the NIM and password.
  • BINUSMAYA Mobile: Use your Binusian email account (@binus.ac.id) and password.
• Access via BINUS Mobile for Parent:
  • Open the application.
  • Tap the nine-dot icon in the bottom-right corner.
  • Select Graduation Invitation.
• Access via BINUSMAYA Mobile:

2. Punctuality and Ceremony Regulations

When will the graduation hall doors be closed?
⏰ The doors will be closed 30 minutes before the ceremony begins. Graduates are expected to arrive early and on time.

What happens if I arrive late?
❗ Late-arriving graduates will be conferred at the end of the procession and their names will not be displayed on the multimedia screen.

Can I leave the hall for prayer or restroom breaks during the ceremony?
✅ Yes, but you must first notify the committee and avoid leaving during important sessions such as the Rector’s speech or the conferment ceremony. It is strongly recommended to attend to personal needs before the event starts.

Can I leave before the graduation ceremony ends?
⛔ Graduates are expected to participate in the entire ceremony until completion. If you have an urgent matter, please contact the committee beforehand.

3. Graduation Photography and Documentation

Is participation in the graduation photo session mandatory?
✅ Yes. Graduates must register for the graduation photo session through the official registration form announced by the graduation committee.

Can I bring my own photographer into the graduation hall?
❌ No. Only official photographers authorized by BINUS University (such as Tarzan Photo) are permitted to conduct photography inside the venue.

Is the graduation fee inclusive of photography services?
❌ No. The graduation fee does not include procession photos. Graduates who wish to obtain procession photos must place an order and make a separate payment to the official photographer appointed by BINUS University.

4. Graduate Dress Code

Is there a dress code for graduates?
✅ Graduates must arrive already dressed according to the requirements below and proceed directly to the Plenary Hall. Wearing graduation gowns at the entrance or in the lobby is not permitted.

Note: Only small sling bags are permitted and must be concealed underneath the graduation gown.

5. Guest Facilities and Accessibility

Will snacks or refreshments be provided for guests?
❌ No. Graduation fees do not include food or beverages. Guests are advised to eat before attending the ceremony.

Can guests or graduates bring food and drinks into the graduation hall?
❌ No. Food and beverages are not allowed inside the graduation hall for either graduates or guests. This policy helps maintain cleanliness and comfort throughout the event.

What facilities are available for guests or graduates using wheelchairs?
✅ BINUS University provides accessibility facilities for guests and graduates with mobility needs, including:

• Wheelchair-accessible ramps for building access.
• Accessible restrooms located within the event area.

6. Flower Boards and Accommodation

Can flower boards be sent to the graduation venue?
✅ Yes. Friends and relatives may send flower boards to the venue, subject to the regulations of the event location.
