BINUS Graduate Attributes (BGA) is a set of essential attributes that every BINUS University student is expected to develop during their studies, both through academic and non-academic activities. To ensure the achievement of these attributes, every student is required to participate in the BGA Assessment.

The BGA Assessment is a measurement model that serves as an indicator of the achievement of each BINUS Graduate Attribute (BGA). Students can access and complete the BGA Assessment through the Class Extension (CX) platform (https://cx.apps.binus.ac.id) and the BGA Apps (https://bga.apps.binus.ac.id).

Stages and Schedule of BGA Assessment Implementation

The BGA Assessment consists of three (3) measurement stages:

  • Understanding (knowledge)

  • Ability (skill)

  • Psychomotor/application (behavior)

The assessment will be conducted in three (3) periods:

  • Period 1: Measurement of understanding through the BGA Foundation Program, conducted in the first semester.

  • Period 2: Measurement of ability through the BGA Self-Assessment, conducted in the fifth semester.

  • Period 3: Measurement of application through evaluation of the Enrichment Program (during the semester when students participate in the program).

Self-Learning: BGA Foundation Program and BGA Optimization Program

To help students understand and meet BGA standards, BINUS University provides two (2) self-learning programs:

1. BGA Foundation Program

This program is designed to provide a basic introduction to the attributes within BGA. It is delivered to first-year students through a mentoring program, aiming to help them understand the concept and importance of BGA in personal development.

It is essential for students to complete the BGA Foundation Program on the Class Extension (CX) platform, as it is a prerequisite for accessing the BGA Self-Assessment in the fifth semester.

Students are considered to have completed this self-learning program if they achieve a minimum post-test score of 70.

2. BGA Optimization Program

Accessible via the CX platform, this program is intended for students whose BGA Self-Assessment results do not meet the minimum required threshold (at least Meet the Expectation).

The BGA Optimization Program provides deeper understanding and helps students apply BGA attributes in daily life.

Students are considered to have completed this self-learning program if they achieve a minimum post-test score of 70.
